y Y ' <br />Modification No. 009 <br />Coopezative AgzeernanL No. 49-FC-60-11870 <br />As set forth in Sect;on B.2.g. of this agreement and Table 1, Apgendix B, of the ]uly 1997 Gooperative <br />Agreerrient far Platte River Research and Other Efforis Relating to Endangered Species Habitats Along the <br />.Centrai Platte River, Nebraska, the 5tate of Colorado's share of the "other cash" budget is $600,000.00 or <br />no more than 15.79% excluding the cost for Fluvial Geomorphological Investigations. The Governance <br />Caminzttee and representat'sves for the Cvoparative Agreement have agreed thac the States of Colarado, <br />Nebraska, and Wyoming will`fund tl:e Fluvial Geomo;phological Tnvestigations. Each state will provide no <br />more than $100,004•40 each or 33.33% of the cost of said investigation. As set farth in Section D,1 of this <br />agreement, as modified, the state and fetieral representa.tive for the agreement and the Nebraska Community <br />Founc3ation rnay agree in writing to modify individual budgets within the total budget set forth above, <br />pzovided that the State of Colorado's expenditures under #his agreement shall not exceed $650,362.72. <br />For the State of Colorado authority for the original contract and budget of $600,000.00 exists in the law in <br />Fund Number 12H, Agency PAA, APPR code PRB,GBL PRB, Object Code 1920, Contract Encumbrance <br />Number PAA G153R78, and in Fand Numbcr 104, Agency PDA, APPR code 018, Program WTRC, Object <br />Code 1920, Contract Encumbzance Number FDA C 153878. As of December 31, 2000, Colazado has <br />contributed $286,734.67 toward the "other cash" portion of the Cooperative Agreement. Therefore, a balance <br />of $313,265.33 zema:ns for future requirements. Authcrity for this remaining balance exists undez Fund 12 <br />H, pAA in the amount of $300,040.00 and under Fund 100, PDA in the amount of $13,26533. <br />Authority for the additional $ 100,000.00 exists in the law and funds have been budgeted, approgriated and <br />otherwise made available and a sufficient unencumbered balaace thereof remains available for paymeZt in <br />Fund Number 100, A.gency PDA, APPR code 018, Program WTRC, Object Code 1920, Contract <br />Encuznbrance rtumber PDA CI53878. <br />Nebraska Special Pcavisions As -set forth in Section B.2.g. of this agreement and Table 1, Appendix B, of fhe 7uly 1997 Cooperative <br />Agreemenk for Platte River Reseazch and Other Effarts Relating to Endangered Species Habitats Along the <br />Cent:-al Plaite River, Nebraska, the State of Nebraska's sharc of the tatal budget is $400,000.00 or no more <br />than 14.53°lo af the tatai budget excluding ttie cost for Fluvial Geomorphological Investigations. The <br />Governance Corrnaittee and representatives for the agreement have agreed that the States of Colorado, <br />Nebraska, and Wyoming will fund the Fluvial Creomoiphological InvestigaCions. Each state will provide no <br />more than $ 100,000.00 or 33.33% of the cost of said investigation. As set forth in Section D.1 of this <br />agreement, as modified, the state and federal representative for the agreement and the Nebraska Community <br />Foundation rnay agree in writing to modify indxvidual bndgets within the total budget set farth above, <br />provided that the State of Nebraska's expenditures under this agreem°nt, when combined with Nebraska <br />payments to the the Executive Direetar's office before this agreement was executed, shall not exceed <br />$500,000.00. ' . <br />Wyoming Special Pzovisions <br />As set forth in Section B.2.g. of thzs agreement and Table 1, Appendix B, of the JuIy 1997 Caoperacivs <br />Agceement for Platte River Research and Other Efforts Relating to Endangered Species Habitats Along the <br />Centcal Placte River, Nebraska, the State of Wyoming's share of the total budget is $300,000.00 or no more <br />th•an 7,89% Qf the tatal budget excluding the cost for Fluviai Geomorphological 1'nvestigations.
