The Board of Directors of the Central Water Conservancy District has invited this <br />District to attend a meeting they are hosting on January 18' in Evans. The purpose <br />of the meeting is to discuss issues affecting ditch company boards & staff along the <br />South Platte River between Brighton and the state line. <br />SOUTH PLATTE LOWER RIVER GROUP, INC.: <br />A tour of the Tamarack Project will be held December 19th by personnel from the Colorado <br />Division of Wildlife. <br />Rick Brown from the Colorado Water Conservation Board reviewed the efforts in the selection of <br />a consultant to review potential sites for reservoir or water storage development along the lower <br />South Platte River basin. <br />The next meeting of the South Platte Lower River Group will be held this Thursday, December 7`h <br />at the District office. <br />PUBLIC COMMENT: <br />Gene Schleiger from the Northern Colorado Water Conservancy District reviewed area reservoir <br />and snow pack figures. •- - <br />Rick Brown from the Colorado Water Conservation Board reviewed the progress of the 3-States <br />Agreement. OLD BUSINESS: None <br /> <br />NEW BUSINESS: <br />In an effort to work with GASP, Director Treadway made the motion that meetings of the two <br />a2encies be held as needed at a place of mutual aereement to discuss only aizenda items as <br />advanced bv both parties. Lower will be represented by a committee appointed bv the President <br />consisting of one representative from LoQan. Moraan/Washineton and Sedgwick Counties as well <br />as the President and Manaizer and/or others as needed. Director Crandall seconded. Motion <br />passed unanimouslv. <br />? <br />-6-
