?, . <br />Counsel Lawrence also mentioned the upcoming North Sterling Irrigation District <br />96CW 1034 case as well as the FRICO 02CW 105 case. <br />PRESIDENT'5 REPORT: <br />President Stromberger noted that a copy of the new Fee Schedule from the Division of Water <br />Resources was included in the Board packets. <br />President Stromberger also noted that the District had been contacted by a water measurement <br />company called DynoTek Representatives of the company will be demonstrating their products <br />next week. <br />MANAGER'S REPORT: <br />Included in Manager Frank's report were the following: <br />Manager Frank, President Stromberger, Vice President Fritzler and Director's <br />Treadway and Aranci met with the Irrigationists on June 6th to discuss Hardin. <br />At the meeting the Irrigationists expressed their concern over conditional water <br />rights. Counsel Lawrence stressed the need for all three Districts (Central, <br />Northern and Lower) to participate and defend diligence as one project. <br />The Bureau of Reclamation is currently reviewing the District's request for an <br />extension on the 2025 Grant. The Grant currently expires on September 30, 2006. <br />Don Schneider reported on progress of the Ovid Reservoir. The Colorado Water <br />Conservation Board (CWCB) has a number of questions and concerns which need <br />to be addressed by the Ovid Reservoir Company (ORC). Rob McCiary will be <br />meeting with GASP to try and renegotiate details of tne project acquisition from <br />GASP to the Ovid Reservoir Company. Mr. McClary will aiso be meeting with <br />the Colorado Water Conservation Board at the CWCB July board meeting in <br />Durango. <br />Manager Frank noted the invitation included in the Director's packets from the <br />Central Water Conservancy District inviting the District to join them for their <br />Annual Water Resources Tour on Thursday, August 3, 2006. <br />Manager Frank also asked the Board to note the registration forms which are also <br />included in the Director's packets for Colorado Water Congress's Summer <br />Convention which will be held in Breckenridge August 23rd _ 25th <br />-3-
