The subcomrnittee also discussed the feasibility of transferring the Julesburg Recharge Project to <br />the J-Lziesb2irg Weil Users in addition to adding the Northern High Plains wells into the prmject. <br />A meeting is planned for December Sf" benveen the Sedgwick County Well Users, the Julesburg <br />Wel1 TJsers, T SpWCD and the Northern High Plains well users to disc1ass adding the eight (8) <br />wells from the Northern High Plains into one of the existing augmentation plans in the area. <br />LEGAL REPORT• <br />Inclttdect in Kelly Custer's report were the following: <br />• Peterson Recharge Diligence 05-CW-63 - Counsel Custer updated the Board <br />to the City of Sterling's objections to this case and reminded the Boarti that <br />Sterling is the Iast remaining abjector. <br />PRESIDENT'S REPO12'[': <br />President Fritzler reported that during the last few months he and Manager Frank have been <br />active in the Hardin Diligence case. <br />Also President Fritzler expressed his thanks to the Division of Water Resources (DWR) <br />personnel for meeting wiih area ditch companies to promote a good working relationship. <br />Recently the DWR held a ditch rider training seminar at Lower's office and distributed training <br />handhooks and informational cd's. <br />MA.NA.GIER'S REPC)R'[`; <br />Included in Manager Frank's report were the following: <br />o Manager Frank asked that the Board go into Executive Session at the end of <br />the Board meeting to discuss Hardin Diligence. <br />g Manager Frank reviewed the November 13'h 1177 Joint Roundtable Meeting <br />between the South Piatte, Metro, and Arkansas rotindtables. AgricultLire and <br />rurat partnerships as well as trans-basin projects were some of the items <br />discussed. <br />• Pvlanager Frank attended the Platte River Land Advisory Committee meeting <br />in Kearney Nebraska on November 14th. Manager Frank is Colorado's <br />reprzsentative to that committee. The next meeting will be held January 2gtn <br />in C`irand Island. <br />• An Ag Water A1liance Seminar will be held December 13t° and 14t" at the <br />Jefferson Caunty Fairgrounds. Early registration is $25.00 and can be made at <br />the Farm Bureau.
