Modification No. 004 <br />Cooperative Agreement No. 99-FC-60-11870 <br />. . <br />Colorado Financial Provisions: <br />As set forth in Section B.2.g. of this agreement and Table l, Appendix B, of the July 1997 Cooperative <br />Agreement for Platte River Research and Other Efforts Relating to Endangered Species Habitats Along the <br />Central Platte River, Nebraska (Table 1 modified by Governance Committee action as shown in Exhibit <br />l,which is page 7 of the Governance Committee meeting minutes of October 29-30- 20003), the State of <br />Colorado's share of the "other cash" budget is $637,489.00 or no more than 15.79% excluding the cost for <br />Fluvial Geomorphological Investigations. T'he Governance Committee and representatives for the . <br />Cooperative Agreement have agreed that the States of Colorado, Nebraska, and Wyoming will fund the <br />Fluvial Geomorphological Investigations. Each state will provide no more than $100,000.00 each or <br />33.33% of the cost of said investigation. As set forth in Section D.1 of this agreement, as modified, the state <br />and federal representative for the agreement and the Nebraska Community Foundation may agree in writing <br />to modify individual budgets within the total budget set forth above, provided that the State of Colorado's <br />expenditures under this agreement shall not exceed $737,489.00. <br />For the State of Colorado authority for the original contract, as amended, and budget of $700,000.00 exists in <br />the law in Fund Number 12H, Agency PAA, APPR code PRB,GBL PRB, Object Code 1920, Contract <br />Encumbrance Number PAA C153878, and in Fund Number 100, Agency PDA, APPR code 018, Program <br />WTRC, Object Code 1920, Contract Encumbrance Number PDA C153878. As ofMarch 1, 2004, Colorado <br />has contributed $518,467.19 toward the "other cash" portion of the Cooperative Agreement and $100,000.00 <br />for the Fluvial Geomorphological Investigation for a total contribution to date of $618,467.19. Therefore, a <br />balance of $81,532.81 remains for future requirements. Authority for this remaining balance exists under <br />Fund 12 H, PAA and under Fund 100, PDA. <br />Authority for the additional $37,489.00 exists in the law and funds have been budgeted, appropriated and <br />otherwise znade available and a sufficient unencumbered balance thereof remains available for payment in <br />Fund Number 100, Agency PDA, APPR code 018, Program WTRC, Object Code 1920, Contract <br />Encumbrance Number PDA C153878. <br />Page 2 of 2
