Oblectives of the Biolomr Report. <br />The objectives of this report are to describe the methods and <br />evaluation useci to: <br />(1) select or develop species habitat models applicable to <br />the Platte River system; <br />(2) define and apply habitat suitability criteria to <br />species madels; <br />(3) identify conflict among habitat needs'and select- ' <br />seasonal*criteria to be applied -to models; <br />(4) establish habitat objectives and identify factors <br />affecting habitat; <br />(5) identify and evaluate habitat management alternatives; <br />(6) select a preferred management plan which may include <br />one or more alternatives; and; (7) recommend a future research and monitoring program. <br /> <br />The Biology Workgroup and Hydrology Workgroup reports will be --used by the Management Alternatives Workgroup in formulating a <br />management plan for the Platte River system. The management plan <br />will be submitted to the Coordinating Committee.
