C-900--.
SPWRAP
August 20, 2007
Mr. Kent Crowder
Jackson County Water Conservancy District
Jackson County
P.O. Box 1019
Walden, CO 80480
Dear Mr. Crowder:
It is my understanding that Ted Kowalski from the State of Colorado recently spoke with Carl
Trick regarding Mr. Kowalski's letter of May 14, 2007 regarding SPWRAP and Recovery
agreements. Apparently, Mr. Trick has requested a second letter from the State and SPWRAP
that describes Jackson County's depletions plan and the inherent limitations in that plan, with
more speciftcity. Mr. Kowalski sent a second letter on May 25, 2007 which included an
attachment with Colorado's depletions plan and Jackson County's depletions plan on pages 7-9.
SPWRAP concurs with the State's explanation of the Jackson County depletions plan under the
Platte River Recovery Program.
If you have any further questions do not hesitate to contact either Mr. Kowalski or myself.
Sincerely,
`-6
Kevin Ur'
Acting Executive Director
SPWRAP
cc: Carl Trick, CWCB member
Ted Kowalski, State of Colorado
