Muth, 1984-85). <br />Colorado Sauawfish <br />1982 <br />A total of 16 YOY squawfish was collected in the Colorado River study <br />area in 1982 (Table 3). Of these, 2 were collected by drift net on <br />27 July in the Black Rocks area and 14 were collected by seine on 23 August <br />at 8 sites from km 216.1 to 244.4. All seine specimens were captured <br />in low-velocity habitats, i.e., backwaters (10), embayments (2), and <br />a single concavity (2). In the Yampa River study area, 20 YOY squawfish <br />
