<br />A survey of the Colorado River drainage in
<br />Colorado was made during the summer-fall of
<br />1979-1981 to determine the distribution of
<br />larval Colorado squawfish, and to relate their
<br />occurrence to the hydrological regime. The
<br />greatest abundance of adults and larvae were
<br />found in the lower Colorado and Yampa Rivers.
<br />Observations indicate that stream flow and
<br />temperature affect the reproductive success of
<br />Colorado squawfish, but other factors may also
<br />be limiting recruitment.
