1997, we ran simulations to determine the numbers of adults that would be required to
ensure with 95% certainty that each subpopulation of each species would reach an
effective population size of at least 500 (see accompanying UDWR report). For those
simulations, target values of 1330 adult fish, based on a 3 female to 1 male sex ratio
and 50% spawner frequency, for each subpopulation were generated. Total adults
required to reach those population levels were generated and are reported in the
UDWR report.
