f_I LJ proposed (FG-I) initiates the process of consolidating and integration of studies for final flow recommendations which wiH result from the research program. Individual Scopes- of-Work in standard format are given for each proposed study in Section 3 of the .attached document. A Duchesne River work group was formed under the direction of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Utah Division of Wildlife, Bureau of Reclamation, and Central Utah Water Conservancy District. As additional research is planned or proposed for the Duchesne River, those studies that have a connection with the Five Year Flaming Gorge/Green River Research Program will be submitted far RIP review as part of the Flaming Gorge Research effort. No RIP funds have been requested for these studies, however funds for certain aspects of the Duchesne River studies will be requested from the RIP and>or cost-shared with the Central Utah Water Conservancy District. For FY 1995 the the Central Utah Water Conservancy District will be supplementing RIP funding with $37,000. ~ Vllt. Study Schedule: The Core-Research Studies are long-term studies that will be conducted on an annual basis through FY 1996. Hypothesis-Testing Studies are short to Fong-term studies that will last 1-5 years. Field work on all studies will be completed in 1996 with a final integrated report to be prepared in 1997. A proposed timeline for each study can be found with the individual scope-of--work. IX. Fiscal Year 1995 Work: Fiscal Year 1995 work will include ongoing Core-Research Studies and Hypothesis- Testing Studies. For a break down of tasks and budgets see Section 2; Table 3 in part 5.0 of this document. Deliverables for FY 1995 will include individual project reports and a detailed progress report on the status and- findings of the consolidation and integration of studies within the package.
