not reproduce significantly in the Green River habitats.
Recommendations
The following recommendations are made to guide future research
efforts on the Duchesne River and to provide necessary protection
for critical habitat:
1) Expand spring runoff electrofishing to document
additional occupation of habitats by rare fishes.
2) Implant radio transmitters into 10+ Colorado squawfish
during spring runoff to document the extent of movements
and seasonal occupation of habitats.
3} Conduct larval trapping and drift netting studies to
ascertain if spawning of Colorado squawfish and/or
razorback suckers is occurring.
4) Consider the addition of the Duchesne River from the
Uinta River confluence to the Green River to the ISMP
standardized monitoring program.
5) Expai;d the proposed designation of critical habitat for
