Figure 8 presents hydxographs for stations on the north side
of the Gunnison Rivera Station 7 is our Gunnison River
hydrograph with stage difference of approximately 5 feet since
its installation in early-June. Water levels rise during August
due to releases from dams. Ground and surface water levels on
the north side of the river do not show much overall
correspondence to River stage.

z
O
W
J
W
4526
4524
4522
O-gyp ~~_ 'gyp
O
0
0
0
0
4520
^--^ CE1
o-o CE3
X-X cE5 451 S
+-+ CE6
v-v CE7~River J U~ J U L
o-o CE10
AUG SEP OCT
Figure 8. Hydrographs for stations in the northern study area.
Many stations have a total drop of only 1 to 2 feet, and
many actually rise during the summer or fail gradually. It
indicates that groundwater flow from the north is supporting many
water tables and wetlands, including the ox-bow ponds at station
14
Gunnison River °
----°
