If total annual flow in acre feet is plotted for-the period <br />of record, it can be seen, in Figure 10, that the water years <br />1983-1985 were three of the largest on record. -Also, .the water <br />years from _1959 through 1982 were-not abnormally low. Thus., the <br />,total flow of water for those years-was relatively similar to <br />-those of earlier years, but without the high flows and with much <br />greater regularity. <br />Mountain snowpacks were enormous during 1983 through 1985, <br />creating huge runoff events.
