In the spring, <br />speckled dace ranged from 3 - 12 cm with a modal length class of 7 cm. During the summer, <br />speckled dace were of the 5 cm modal class and ranged from 3 - 12 cm length classes, whereas <br />fish in the late summer/early fall averaged 7 cm and ranged from 3 - 11 cm. <br />' Other Species <br />Only flannelmouth sucker and speckled dace were captured upstream in the Paria River, <br />proper. Three fish of two other species were caught in the mouth of the Paria River in addition to <br />flannelmouth sucker and speckled dace.
