1497 Paris River Native Fish Monitoring <br />Flannelmouth sucker catch was low early in the year; however, four age 1 fish and one <br />adult were caught in the spring (Figure 2). Beginning in May, catches of larvae and juveniles <br />increased dramatically with a peak on 4 June 1997 (CPUE 10.7 fish / 100 mz seined). No sub- <br />adults were caught and YOY were no longer collected after 11 July. <br />Four age 1 flannelmouth suckers (85 - 113 mm TL) were caught in the spring of 1997 <br />(Figure 3). One adult (472 mm) flannelmouth sucker was also caught during this period.
