The federal list of endangered species also in- <br />cludes the Kendall Warm Springs dace, a subspecies of <br />speckled dace. The Kendall dace lives only in the <br />outflow of Kendall Warm Springs in Wyoming. The <br />entire habitat of this peculiar population of speckled <br />dace consists of less than 1000 feet of a small stream <br />Lees <br />Farr <br />50 100 2: <br />C <br />o so 00 150 <br />SCALE IN MILES <br />before it plunges over a ledge into the Green River. <br />The Kendall Warm Springs dace is classified as endan- <br />gered because of its restricted habitat and the <br />possibility that the entire population could be wiped <br />out from pollution of the spring. <br />N E W M EX I CO <br />10
