During fiscal year 1993, the entities developed a plan of study and reviewed
available data, reports and other information. During fiscal year 1994, entities _
will initiate and/or continue field reconnaissance and project coordination,
hydrologic and water resources assessment, biological evaluation, and recreation
assessment activities. 0
A steering committee of representatives from the four agencies, supported by a
project leader from Bureau of Land Management, will oversee the assessment.
The agency partners are committed to communicating with stakeholders and
providing ample opportunity for discussion of issues, opportunities and
concerns. A periodic newsletter will be a primary vehicle for communication.
The assessment group encourages meetings with interested groups and
organizations.
Funding sources The four participating agencies will contribute most of the staff and financial
resources to complete the assessment. An estimate of the total cost has not been
developed at this time. Each agency is responsible for arranging the availability
of funds and staff.
