<br />Nonnative Fish
<br />The nonnative fish introduced into the enclosures reproduced and the populations quickly
<br />grew to very large numbers (Table 6 through Table 8).
<br />
<br />The estimate for the black bullhead, green sunfish and fathead minnow assemblage ~
<br />exceeds 40,000 for both enclosures (Table 9). The nonnative fish predators were well
<br />represented in the study. Population estimates for carp and red shiner were not calculated
<br />because very few individuals of these species were captured. ~
