Whereas zooplankton densities were increasing outside the fish enclosures <br />in early July, zooplankton densities within the fish enclosures continued to decline. In July, <br />zooplankton densities averaged 7.6 z/1 and 5.6 z/1 in the high and low-density enclosures, <br />~ respectively, but averaged 86.3 z/1 outside the fish enclosures (Figure 2.).
