ACKNOWLEDGMENTS <br />This study was funded by the Recovery Implementation Program for Endangered Fish <br />Species in the Upper Colorado River Basin. The Recovery Program is a joint effort of <br />the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, U.S. Bureau of Reclamation, Western Area Power <br />Administration, States of Colorado, Utah, and Wyoming, Upper Basin water users, <br />environmental organizations, and the Colorado River Energy Distributors Association. <br />Thomas Czapla served as project technical officer for the Recovery Program and <br />greatly assisted us during this project. We also are grateful to other U.S. Fish and <br />Wildlife Service personnel including Angela Kantola, Charles McAda, Douglas <br />Osmundson, Jerry Roehm, George Smith, and Ellen Szczesny, who provided maps, <br />data and draft reports.
