Physical habitat
The average spring peak flow for the period of record (1906-1996) for the Green River,
near Green River, is 24,670 cfs, while the historic peak (pre-regulation) was 66,700 (USGS
gage). The highest post regulation peak was 47,200 cfs in 1984. Based on the average peak, this
study encompassed 2 low w~.ter years, 2 average years and 1 moderately high water year.
