The initial goal of <br />150,000 squawfish over three years was not met. A total of 96,597 <br />fingerlings were stocked into Kenney Reservoir. All stocked squawfish <br />received an internal tetracycline mark and an external batch <br />identification mark (Table 1). <br />Table 1. All fish species <br />collected in the study and their codes and status are listed in Table 2. <br />For large seine hauls (high numbers of fish), the total number of fish was <br />estimated and the relative abundance of each species derived from either <br />a subsample of the haul, or ratios based on hauls in which all fish were <br />counted and identified.
