ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS <br />Special appreciation is extended to Mr. F. W. (Bob) Jackson, District <br />Fisheries Biologist, who contributed much to the success of this investigation. <br />Mr. Fred Eisertnan, Fisheries Management Coordinator, also contributed <br />measurably to the project, as did Mr. Dick Baldes, Project Assistant in 1963 <br />and 1964, and the members of Fish Management Crew Number 4. Mr. Cliff <br />Bosley aided the study by making available his unpublished fish length data <br />from earlier studies of the lower river. The author is indebted to the in- <br />numerable ot'$er personnel of the Wyoming Game and Fish Department who <br />helped at various times. <br />Thanks are due to the various U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service personnel <br />who assisted in gathering data during the treatment. <br />Gratitude is expressed to Mr. E. L. Heinschel of the FMC Corporation for <br />providing access to the company water chemistry records. <br />Dr. Charles E.
