Objective 7. Conduct non-native fish removal and fish community sampling into <br />Whirlpool Canyon. <br />Objective 8. Collect flow data in Whirlpool Canyon USGS stations at the Deerlodge <br />Park gage on the Yampa River, and the Greendale, Utah and Jensen, Utah gages on <br />the Green River. <br />Objective 9. Collect water temperature data in Whirlpool Canyon. <br />Objective ] 0. Based on the conclusions of these investigations (Obj. 1-9), <br />recommend a process to monitor future effects of operations at Flaming Gorge Dam <br />on the downstream fish community. <br />Goal. Characterize the humpback chub Gila cypha population in Whirlpool Canyon. <br />Objective 11. Gather preliminary information to describe the distribution, relative <br />abundance, and size structure of Gila spp. in Whirlpool Canyon through the fish <br />community sampling methodologies. <br />Objective 12. Characterize morphology of the Gila spp. collected in Whirlpool <br />Canyon (Douglas et al. 1989; 1998). <br />Objective 13.
