Note that gauge error of a USGS <br />"excellent" gage ie 5 percent, or approximately 400,000 acre-feet-per year for the gages at Lee Ferry, Hoover Dam, and <br />the International Border. Such gage errors may result in the computation of large apparent channel losses. <br />
