The Recovery Program is a joint effort of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, U.S. <br />Bureau of Reclamation, Western Area Power Administration, states of Colorado, Utah, and Wyoming, <br />Upper Basin water users, environmental organizations, and the Colorado River Energy Distributors <br />Association. <br />Acknowledgments <br />This study was conducted through the Habitat Restoration Program under the auspices of Pat Nelson as <br />part of the Recovery Implementation Program for Endangered Fish Species in the Upper Colorado River <br />Basin. Vernal, Utah field office. This study could not have been done without the cooperation of the <br />individual land owners. Thanks also goes out to the Vernal Fish and Wildlife office for support and to <br />Dave Soker (FWS) who initiated contact with all the land owners and provided right of entry permits to <br />access the properties.
