2.5.4.1 A 2.,000 kw (7,200 MJ) power plant under the conditions
dictated by Alternative D would generate approximately 10 million kwh
per year (36 million MJ) at a cost per kwh of 24 mills.
2.5.5 Access Roads
2.5.5.1 Approximately 2,100 feet (638m) of highway relocation would
ba required for Alternative D. A few minor access roads would be
required to get to and from the borrow areas located near the dam.
The riprap borrow area is the same as for the other alternatives and
would require an access road approximatel y 1,7 miles, (2.7 km) long.

2.5.6.1 Revegetation - The applicant proposes to revegetate ell
borrow areas above the high water line after construction.
2.5.6.2 Fishery Facilities - The outlet works would be designed
simiLiar to the other alternatives to avoid entrainment of fish.
2.5.6.3 Additional Mitigation Measures - Mitigation measures are
discussed in detail in Chapter 5.

2.6.1.1 Alterantive E considers construction of an infiltration
gallery imodified radial collector well) adjacent to and beneath the
White River near the existing water treatment plant for the town of
Rangely. The filtration plant is located in the northwest quarter of
Section 6, Township 1 North, Range 101 West. Rio Blanco County.
