2 <br />biological diversity and assisting the recovery of species, <br />populations, and ecosystems that are threatened or in danger of <br />extinction. <br />To apply, prospective grantees need to submit to this office a <br />brief but complete scope of work describing the problem and <br />objectives, the proposed mitigation/enhancement activities, and <br />estimated costs, including salaries, equipment, supplies, travel, <br />overhead, etc. We will select proposals for funding based on the <br />attached criteria and our judgment as to the merits of the <br />proposal in meeting the objectives of Section 314(c) of the <br />CUPCA.
