• Use fyke nets at upper end of Yampa Canyon to intercept and remove adult <br />channel catfish migrating downstream into Yampa Canyon to spawn. Use fyke <br />nets (and possibly angling) at lower end of Yampa Canyon to intercept and <br />remove subadult channel catfish migrating upstream into Yampa Canyon to <br />- recruit into the adult spawning population. <br />• Identify the need for channel catfish control programs in the Duchesne, White, <br />and Colorado rivers, and develop control strategies using programs in the Yampa <br />River and Desolation/Gray canyons as templates. <br />• Do not proceed with large-scale efforts to mechanically remove nonnative <br />cyprinids from backwaters and low-velocity habitats in the lower Green and <br />Colorado rivers in Utah and in the Colorado River Colorado: <br />v <br />
