A listing of federal fish <br />health biologists and Fish Health Centers can be found in Table 2Q. <br />The culturist must recognize the .affected fish, collect <br />representative specimens, prepare them properly for shipment,, and <br />use the best mode of transportation available. Live specimens are <br />much preferred to dead ones. The culturist should also provide <br />adequate information about water quality, culture techniques, and <br />other factors that may have affected the fish in question. The <br />fish diagnostician may request further samples from the affected <br />group, other fish on the station, or a water sample for further <br />analysis.
