consideration. Furthermore, illegal transport of these species from the east slope of
Colorado would require only 2 to 4 additional hours of transportation time.
~ Division Wildlife Officers actively enforce regulations (Wildlife Commission
Regulations 009 B & C) that prohibit unauthorized stocking of fish by anglers.
Enforcement of these regulations is not always possible. However, the CDOW does
~ not believe stocking of nonactive warmwater sportfishes that are already in the
drainage should be prohibited because of angler actions beyond the control of the
CDOW.
