Gila elegans has been considered as a full species, a <br />subspecies, and an "ecotype," in the last two cases as a form of ~ G. robusta. Many <br />records of the last therefore include G. elegans and G. intermedia (to be discussed <br />later), in part at least. These are not included in the listing of previous records <br />unless especially pertinent. <br />~:. , <br />
