1 <br />tow <br />110 FISHES AND FISFIESIES OF NEVADA <br />The writer has been able to sample the White River invertebrates <br />only in Pahranagat Valley and the Warm Spring region, and then <br />only in a minor way. His first visit to the Pahranagat Valley warm <br />Springs in 1937 was primarily a plant-collecting one and secondarily <br />a search for dragonflies. The usual large aggregation of water beetles, <br />bugs, dragonflies, mayflies and caseflies is found here, all of which are <br />good fish food, and vice versa. <br />Original Fish Fauna of the White River System Within Historical Times <br />(A) SUCKER FAMILY, Family Catostomidae <br />1.
