' Coordinated Reservoirs Draft News Release

The Coordinated Reservoirs Work Group, established as part of the Recovery Program for
' Endangered Fish Species in the Upper Colorado River Basin (Recovery Program), plans to hold
three public meetings in February to inform the public of an upcoming program which will to
attempt of coordinate voluntary reservoir bypasses throughout the upper Colorado River basin
' above Grand Junction to benefit the endangered Colorado fishes and their habitat. These
meetings will be held to inform the public about the Recovery Program, Recovery
Implementation Program Recovery Action Plan (RIPRAP) activities, coordinated reservoir
' operations and the planned bypass flows, and the coordinated reservoir operations process. The
meetings will be held as follows.
• Silverthorne 9:30 am Feb 20,1997 Silverthorne Town Hall
• Glenwood Springs 3:00 pm February 20 Hotel Colorado
• Grand Junction 8:00 pm February 20 Ramada Inn
