This 2-year con- <br />ract is for building a 6-mile-long earth- <br />ned canal and its accompanying struc- <br />ures. Less than 10 percent of the con- <br />tact work remained to be finished at the <br />tnd of FY 1986. <br />Work on the $6,400,000 contract for <br />Great Cut Pumping Plant, which was <br />awarded in 1983, was about 95 percent <br />complete at the end of FY 86. <br />A $2.9-million contract was awarded in <br />May 1986 for the construction of the <br />6.9-mile-long South Canal. At the end of <br />FY 86 about 50 percent of the work was <br />completed. <br />A $1.4-million construction contract was <br />awarded in August 1985 for the House <br />Creek Recreation Area and McPhee <br />Reservoir Fisherman Access Facilities of <br />the Dolores Project.
