<br />APPENDIX I <br />Colorado River Fish and Wildlife Council Fish Disease Subcommittee Report <br />April 1998 <br />' Enclosed is the agenda for the Colorado River Fish and Wildlife Council's Fish disease <br />-_professionals from the other Rocky Plains states stayed to add their expertise to the group <br />Recommendations from the Subcommittee for Action by the Council <br />subcommittee meeting which was held in Sidney, Nebraska on January 15, 1998, directly <br />following the Rocky Plains Fish Health Workers annual meeting. Attendance was good (list <br />enclosed) with someone from every state present. In addition, several of the fish health <br />discussions. Also inclosed, for your information, are the draft minutes from the meeting. <br />' 1) Approve the subcommittee drafting a letter for the Council chairman's signature to the Fish <br />and Wildlife Service stating our concerns over how the Wild Fish National Survey is being <br />handled (for more information refer to item one in the minutes). <br />' 2) Request the Council reconsider it decision on not endorsing a policy to allow a fish health <br />professional to serve as a technical expert on all aquatic recovery programs. A letter from the <br />' subcommittee chairman will be forthcoming if more justification is needed. <br />3) Approval to hold the next meeting in January 1999 in conjugation with the Upper Colorado <br />' River Recovery Program researchers workshop in Grand Junction, Colorado. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />1 <br /> <br />
