<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />is an authority on fish health and culture techniques, and Dr. Modde has maintained <br />Colorado squawfish and bonytail chub at the University facility. <br /> <br />Conduct Telephone Interviews with Key Contacts <br /> <br />Telephone interviews were conducted with 33 key people involved in culture-related aspects <br />of the Colorado River endangered fish. These interviews were preceded by a letter sent to <br />a total of 73 people requesting additional culture-related information. A list of literature <br />assimilated by Bio/West was included with the contact letter for people to reference <br />information already assimilated. People were encouraged to contact Bio/West -and send <br />copies of publications, reports, files, and notes, or to notify Bio/West regarding personal <br />communications. <br /> <br />2.1.2. Work Products <br /> <br />The following five work products were developed as part of the Literature Review and <br />Review of Existing Propagation Facilities task. These include: <br /> <br />1. <br />2. <br />3. <br />4. <br />5. <br /> <br />an alphabetized list and annotated bibliography of pertinent literature; <br />a catalogued library of pertinent literature; <br />a file of personal communications with key fish culturists; <br />a computerized retrieval system with key culture data and issues; and, <br />this task summary which describes all the work products. <br /> <br />Alphabetized List and Annotated Bibliography or Pertinent Literature <br /> <br />A total of 100 sources of written information were assimilated pertinent to the culture of <br />these four endangered fish. Most of the information was in the form of publications and <br />reports available through scientific journals and agency files. An alphabetized list of <br />literature is provided in Table 2.1. Each of the literature sources identified in Table 2.1 was <br />summarized in an Annotated Biblio~raphy of Pertinent Culture Information on the Colorado <br />River Endan&ered Fish.
