Ovulation was induced by inuamuscular injections of 220 units chorionic <br />gonadotropin per kg of body weight at 24-hour intervals. Eggs were manually stripped (mean <br />fecundity = 63,645), combined with the milt of two to three males and allowed to water <br />harden. Eggs were then placed in Heath incubators and hatching jars for incubation. Heated <br />water (20-22oq flowed through the jars and incubators at 4-11 VInin. Percent swim-up fry for <br />the Heath incubators and hatching jars was 38.1 and 54.7% respectively.h <br />A-32 <br />
