He was responsible for a series of <br />quick response task order contracts in the areas of hydrology, hydraulics, erosion, and <br />sedimentation for the Corps of Engineers Mobile District. Dr. Lagasse served as project manager <br />for preparation of the Bureau's Supplement to the Final Environmental Statement for water <br />marketing from Ruedi Reservoir, as well as project manager for the Colorado River Water <br />Conservation District/Bureau preparation of a Supplement to the Colorado-Big Thompson <br />EIS for water marketing from Green Mountain Reservoir. He is currently managing the <br />preparation of a third party EIS for the U.S. Forest Service, Routt National Forest, for the <br />proposed construction and operation of a dam and reservoir on Rock Creek or Muddy <br />Creek in Colorado. <br /> <br />Responsibility of the previously mentioned projects involved coordinating the activities of <br />multidisciplinary engineering and environmental team in preparation of a series of environmental <br />documents dealing with water development in western Colorado; The projects resulted in an <br />environmental assessment, biological assessments, revised hydrologic and operational models, <br />draft and final EIS documents, 404 permits, and Section 7 consultation with USFWS. Dr. Lagasse <br />supported the Bureau, the River District, and the Forest Service at numerous scoping sessions <br />and public hearings during these projects. <br />
