He has acted as Project Manager for a wide range of projects. He is experienced in the development of drainage master plans, drainage planning, and floodplain studies. He has conducted studies for municipalities, counties and State and Federal agencies, including the Colorado Water Conservation Board and Federal Emergency Management Agency, Dr. Frick has supervised the design and construction of drainage and flood control projects, dams, stormwater detention facilities and site development projects. He has experience on numerous design projects for dams, roads and utilities. This experience ranges from initial field investigations through all phases of design, including EIS, permitting and management, and public process. As a requirement on a number of Dr. Frick's projects, the public process is an important aspect of project approval. He has been involved in public outreach information gathering, and consensus building efforts for project approvals. Specific EIS-related work includes: Rock Creek/Muddy Creek Reservoir Draft Environmental Impact Statement. Responsible for water component for full NEPA compliance project. Prepared for the U.S. Forest Service, Rocky Mountain Region, Lakewood, Colorado. Supplement to the Final Environmental Statement for the Colorado-Big Thompson Windy Gap projects. Evaluated the Water Marketing Program for Green Mountain Reservoir, Colorado. Prepared for the Colorado River Water Conservation District in Glenwood Springs, Colorado.
