<br />VI. Aspects of the management plan should follow the basic guidelines and <br />recommendations provided in Minckley et al. (2003) and the RIPSWG <br />(Recovery Implementation Plan Scientific Work Group) Management <br />Plan that provides an outline for the use of these facilities. <br /> <br />ACTIVITIES FOR 2005 <br /> <br />1. Focus points for monitoring the fish community: <br />a. Monitor the size distribution of the fish community. <br />b. Monitor the expansion of the largemouth bass population. <br />c. Continue to mark and recapture fish, including bass. <br />d. Based on snorkeling observations of relative abundance, determine ifbonytail' <br />produce a successful spawn and young survive. <br />2. Complete fish scale analysis. <br />3. Complete telemetry studies on bonytail. <br />4. Complete predator/prey studies. <br />5. Complete dietary analysis. <br />6. Have zooplankton analyzed. <br />7. Field-test a Didson Camera to monitor razorback sucker and bonytail spawning. <br />8. Possibly assist in a salvage effort if one is scheduled for FY -2005. <br />9. Complete the final products for this study: <br />a. A brochure <br />b. Possible video or DVD of the project <br />c. A final report on the ecology of the bonytail and razorback sucker <br />d.
