PREFACE

This manuscript was completed as part of the "Early biology studies-investigations
of effects of flow, temperature, and other environmental variables on the early biology of
selected fishes in the Green River system" within the Five-Year Flaming Gorge Flow
Recommendation Investigation research program under the Recovery Implementation
Program for Endangered Fish Species of the Upper Colorado River Basin. The manuscript
was submitted to The Great Basin Naturalist on 14 April 1994 for consideration to publish
as a scientific paper. After publication, a reprint of the article will be placed in the Recovery
Program's library.
