<br />25 <br /> <br />Largemouth bass: all YOY and juvenile forms of native fishes were affected. Razorback <br />sucker young and Colorado squawfish were again specifically identified. <br /> <br />Black bullhead: affect native fish larvae, YOY and juvenile forms, especially in backwater <br />habitat <br /> <br />Mosquitofish: affect all larval native fish. The Gila topminnow was specifically identified. <br /> <br />Striped bass: razorback sucker young and Colorado squawfish were identified in particular, <br />and all native fish life stages occurring in Lake Powell. <br /> <br />Walleye: razorback sucker young and Colorado squawfish were specifically identified, though <br />all native fish were considered vulnerable. <br /> <br />Flathead catfish: not specifically identified by respondents in this question, though literature <br />provides evidence of impact to stocked razorback sucker young. <br /> <br />Brown trout: affect Rio Grand~ cutthroat and Gila trout <br /> <br />Yellow bullhead and smallmouth bass: affect all endemic fishes in the Gila River Basin. <br /> <br />Redside shiner: affect all larval native fishes. <br /> <br />Rock bass: specific impacts to Pecos gambusia, roundnose minnow, Mexican tetra, and <br />greenthroat darter identified <br /> <br />Plains killifish: affects all larval native fish. <br /> <br />Black crappie: affects all native fish young. <br /> <br />White bass: June sucker specifically affected. <br /> <br />Competition <br /> <br />Each introduced species identified as a competitor was listed below followed by <br />affected native species and life stage. <br /> <br />Channel catfish: Colorado squawfish, razorback sucker, all Gila spp. were specifically <br />identified Many other native species were considered affected, including tlannelmouth <br />sucker, bluehead sucker, and headwater catfish (New Mexico only). <br /> <br />, <br />~ <br />1 <br />j <br /> <br />Red shiner: Colorado squawfish young were specifically identified, as were Gila spp. and <br />spikedace.
