<br />31 <br /> <br />often than native fishes in samples containing rare species, Red shiners, <br />more than any other species, were found in the same samples as rare <br />fishes. <br />The data in Table 4 indicate that young-of-the-year Colorado <br />squawfish were found most commonly with red shiners, fathead minnows, <br />juvenile carp, and young-of-the-year channel catfish. Juvenile squaw- <br />fish were found most often with red shiners, juvenile roundtail chub, <br />and young-of-the-year flannelmouth and bluehead suckers. <br />Young-of-the-year and juvenile humpback chubs were found most <br />commonly with red shiners, fathead minnows, and young-of-the-year channel <br />catfish, Adult humpback chubs were found most commonly with red shiners <br />and juvenile humpback chubs. <br />
