Discusses briefly the history of the occurrence of G. <br />elegans in the Colorado Basin, the history of impoundments <br />of the lower Colorado (Hoover Dam, 1935; Davis Dam, 1951) <br />and their impact on this species. Documents the persistence <br />of population in Lake Mohave. <br />Dill, W.A. 1944. The fishery of the lower Colorado River.
