Bright <br /> <br />Angel Creek can definitely be made available for angling and all <br />tributaries and main river below Shinumo Creek. In fact Shinumo <br /> <br />Creek above the falls could also be open to angling. <br /> <br />We obtained mammaL samples from seven of the ten primary study <br />sites (Lee's Ferry-R. River Mile 19-L. Buck Farm Canyon-R. Lower <br /> <br />Bass Camp-R, Deer Creek ~rea-L. Bridge C:lnyon Dam site-L, and <br /> <br />Scorpion Is1and-L). We obtained our first record of ~ntrozous <br /> <br />pallidus at Lee's Ferry; our first rc~ord of~itel1us 2~riegatus <br />at River Mile 19; our first record of ~erognathus fo~~ at <br />Buck Farm Canyon; our first rec'ords of Pipistre11us hesperu~, <br />Plecotus townsendi, Rpi10gale putorius, and Bassariscus astutus <br />.. '-- _ -- ' ------..-..- <br /> <br />from Lower Bass Camp; our first record of Bassariscus astu!~~ <br />from Deer Creek area; and our first records of Pipistrellus he~yeru~ <br />and Neotoma lepida from Scorpion Island. In view of the number <br /> <br />of additions it is obvious that monitoring studies are necessary to <br />obtain additional base line data. <br /> <br />The herpetofauna survey. was continued. In many instances <br />animals were captured, examined, notes recorded and SUbsequently <br /> <br />released in their same habitat. New locality records were obtained <br /> <br />for Woodhouse toad, Bufo woodhouse!, banded gecko, Cole~nyx varieg~!~s, <br />chuckwalla, ~~uromalus obesus, rtesert collared lizard, frotaphy!~~ <br />insularis, CC)Qchwhip, Masticophls flagel1~, western patchnose <br />
