All '^'ere too ineffic ient to collect adequate s3.mples over <br /> <br />such a large reservoir with the fish populations present at this time <br /> <br />within the limits of man-hours available for the work. For ex~~le} <br /> <br />1}7l4 gill net hours returned 49 rainbow trout and 63 largemouth bass <br /> <br />for a catch per net hour of 0.03 and 0.04 fish, respectively. These net <br /> <br />sets a::'50 captured 142 rO'cll;h fish for a catch per :let hour of 0.09. Gill <br /> <br />nets ~ere 125' X 6' experimental floating and diving with poncls of 3/4} <br /> <br />1-1/4} 1-1/2} 1-3/4, and 2 inch bar measure. In addition, thro~ nets} <br /> <br />small seines, explosives, and stationary hoop nets were used.
