Maintain unimpeded passage within Cataract Canyon as well as existing <br />connections and passage with other humpback chub populations. <br />Lower Colorado River Basin <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />At least two actions have been identified to increase t bers, range and/or <br />populations in the lower basin. One action is to modify the temperature of released water from <br />Glen Canyon Dam to increase the range of the current population upstream and reduce the <br />interaction with nonnative salmonids. Another action is to potentially locate and establish a <br />second population within the Grand Canyon reach of the lower Colorado River. However, <br />recovery criteria for humpback chub in the Lower Colorado River Basin are yet to be determined. <br />San Juan River Basin <br /> <br /> <br />26 <br />
