<br />Cross-sections surveyed in self-formed reaches of the channel showed that
<br />the bankfull discharge was equivalent to the effective discharge. Thus, the
<br />bankfull stream channels studied in this investigation appeared to be adjusted
<br />to and formed by the effective discharges.
